As a lead trumpet player and featured soloist, Stan has toured internationally with major artists including Barry Manilow, Tom Jones, Donna Summer, Poncho Sanchez, Paul Anka, the Glenn Miller International Orchestra, the Tom Kubis Big Band, and the Jack Sheldon Big Band. He has also worked extensively as a Los Angeles studio musician, performing on numerous film, television, and recording projects.

🎧 Composer, Arranger & Producer

Stan has been commissioned to write for a wide range of ensembles, from horn sections and small groups to string ensembles and full symphonic orchestras.

His arranging and production work includes:

• Producing and arranging a full catalog of Marilyn Monroe songs for vocalist Kassandra Carol (2021), recorded with top Los Angeles musicians
• Arranging and producing music for film and television placements with songwriter Michael Cizmar (2024)
• Writing big band and orchestral arrangements for Frank and Friends recordings, featured in productions including The Mule (Clint Eastwood), The Kennedys, and other film and TV projects

In 2015, Stan was awarded a Finalist Certificate in The American Prize for his wind ensemble composition Call to Duty.

Stan's original compositions and arrangements have been performed by a wide range of professional and community ensembles, including:

• Air National Guard Band of the West Coast
• Tom Kubis Big Band
• Portland Concert Jazz Orchestra

His work is also widely performed by college, high school, and community ensembles, reflecting his ongoing commitment to writing music that is both artistically strong and practical for performers.

🎓 Education & Clinics

As an educator, Stan has worked with numerous middle school and high school music programs throughout Southern California.

His educational work includes:

• "History of Jazz" presentations in Orange County schools
• Clinics and workshops at schools including Hamilton Music Academy, Poly High School (Long Beach), Thousand Oaks High School, Oaks Christian High School, Millikan High School, Northgate High School, and many others

Stan has also been deeply involved in music camps throughout his career, including:

• Hayward La Honda Music Camp (camper, counselor, staff member, and camp director)
• Arrowbear Music Camp (camper, counselor, and staff)
• Director of Trumpet Studies at Jazz in the Pines summer music camp in Idyllwild, California
